I’m Rachael Idowu from Osun State, Nigeria. Coming from a low income family, I understand how difficult is it to live a comfortable lifestyle. As the first child out of 4 kids my family and I slept on a family mat until I was 15 years old because my parents cannot afford a brand new bed and there was no alternative of second-hand bed. And because many families are going through this pain in Nigeria due to high cost of living. With the help of this fund we’ll be able to provide more quality and affordable second-hand household items for low income families, new home owners and students in Nigeria. What We Need & What You Get In order to complete this project, we’re seeking for #10,000,000 to get more second-hand household items such as electronics, furniture and home appliances for these families for free and at affordable prices for them to have access to a comfortable living without breaking the bank. With the help of this fund, a lot of hopeless families will smile. This fund will go a long way in our project and even if it’s not enough to complete the entire project, it will reach 70% and this will put smile on the faces of many families. The Impact Our project is valuable because it will give hope to the hopeless, it will make them know that they’re loved, it will give them access to earlier lifestyle and it will make live a better place. With the help of #5,000,000 gotten in 2024 we were able to reach 1000 people, and we want to touch more lives in 2025 hence the need for this fund. Challenges Having gone through this pain in the past, I understand how difficult is can be and this alone triggers me to provide a solution for other people going through this pain and to make live easier for generations to come.
